Were supporting a well-established international manufacturing group seeking a senior HSE leader to shape and drive corporate strategy across all sites. This is a highly visible, Group-level role reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Whats the role all about?

As Group Health, Safety & Environment Manager , you will be responsible for formulating, coordinating and monitoring all corporate HSE programmes, ensuring consistent implementation across multiple locations.Youll act as the strategic lead for Health, Safety and Environmental performance

embedding standards, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement across the division.

Your responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining Group HSE policies and proceduresLeading and monitoring HSE performance against Board-level KPIsImplementing and driving ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standardsEstablishing new environmental programmes across all sitesConducting corporate HSE audits across multiple locationsAdvising Executive Management on serious incidents and regulatory mattersEnsuring statutory compliance with all legal and regulatory requirementsLeading investigations into accidents, environmental incidents and near missesAnalysing HSE data and presenting trends to senior leadershipAdvising on safe systems of work, risk assessments and operational proceduresSupporting safe design and commissioning of new plant, equipment and facilitiesBuilding and maintaining relationships with regulatory authoritiesDriving HSE training, awareness and behavioural safety initiatives

This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role where visibility, credibility and influence are essential.

What youll need

To succeed as a Group HSE Manager , youll bring:NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & SafetyEnvironmental qualification (IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental Certificate)Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001Extensive experience in a manufacturing HSE leadership roleExperience managing HSE performance across multiple sitesExcellent understanding of UK statutory HSE legislationProven ability to engage at Board and senior leadership levelStrong analytical and reporting capabilityFull UK driving licence (travel required)Desirable:Engineering background or qualification (HNC or apprenticeship)Project management experienceWho you areYoure a self-driven, pragmatic and highly credible leader .
