What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts
- Own balance sheet reconciliations & journal postings
- Produce insightful reporting & variance analysis
- Support month-end and year-end processes
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with audits
- Oversee AP/AR ledgers and payment runs
- Partner with non-finance teams across the business
- Mentor and guide junior finance staff
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies
What We’re Looking For
- AAT Level 4 qualified (or QBE)
- Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant (or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
- Experience in a medium/large business environment
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills
- Proactive, organised, and improvement-focused
- Previous team management or mentoring experience is a bonus
