This is an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis where you will be able to work 2-3 days from home and on the Parliamentary Estate in Westminster. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that likes working with a wide variety of different teams and stakeholders, with a successful track record in Internal Audit leadership.
You’ll be accountable for
Strategic leadership and development of the internal audit function
The quality of all internal audit outputs from the internal team and external partner
Leading the development and delivery of the internal audit plan
Managing, motivating and developing the Internal Audit team

What we’re looking for
Chartered Internal Auditor and/ or CCAB qualified accountant
Professional knowledge of the Global Internal Audit Standards
Proven experience of effective stakeholder relationships
Highly developed communication skills
It would be even better if you had or if you’re willing to learn…
A working knowledge of public sector governance arrangements
Experience of partnership working
