Job Description
We are looking for a Head of Internal Audit to join the Clerk of the Parliaments’ Office at the House of Lords. This is a position where you will be able to lead audits led by the internal team, through an external partner, and working with the House of Commons internal audit team to provide third-line assurance for shared services across UK Parliament.
This is an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis where you will be able to work 2-3 days from home and on the Parliamentary Estate in Westminster. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that likes working with a wide variety of different teams and stakeholders, with a successful track record in Internal Audit leadership.
You’ll be accountable for
The quality of all internal audit outputs from the internal team and external partner Leading the development and delivery of the internal audit plan Managing, motivating and developing the Internal Audit team

Check and challenge the actions of the government through questions and debates Investigate public policy and provide a forum of independent expertise
