With this varied and hands-on position, you will work closely with the Head of Health & Safety to support compliance, audits, reporting and training across the business. You will play a key role in ensuring our systems, processes and documentation are robust, up to date, and effectively embedded across teams. You will also act as a vital link between internal teams, suppliers and clients, helping to maintain high standards and ensure everything runs safely, smoothly and in line with ISO and CDM requirements.
Key responsibilities Support the maintenance and development of the Integrated Management System and associated ISO accreditations Assist with internal and external audits, including site inspections and supplier due diligence Carry out occasional ad hoc site visits (typically a couple per month) to support compliance monitoring and audits Monitor and maintain key documentation including CPPs and RAMS, ensuring general compliance Track and report health and safety KPIs, producing monthly dashboards and insights Support the investigation and closure of non-conformances raised by clients or auditors Maintain and update the training matrix, ensuring all employees complete required training on time Coordinate health and safety input within procurement and supplier approval processes Contribute to health and safety presentations, workshops and internal communications Promote and support a positive health and safety culture across the organisation Requirements Proven experience or strong understanding of Health and Safety within a similar environment Knowledge of CDM Regulations NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
Experience of internal auditing Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, including client and supplier interaction Strong decision-making ability and a confident, proactive approach Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
