Job Summary
Health Care Support Workers will assist clients with daily essentials, provide companionship, and deliver high-quality care that makes a meaningful difference. No prior experience is required — full induction and training are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit clients in their homes across Gateshead and Birtley
- Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, meals, medication)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help clients live independently and with dignity
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
Training and Support
- Full induction and hands‑on care training
- Shadowing experienced team members
- Ongoing learning and career development
- Friendly support from a caring team
Candidate Requirements
- Kind, caring, and ready to learn
- Driver with access to a car preferred (not essential)
- Passionate about helping others live well
- Must have UK work authorisation (sponsorship/visa switch not available)
