Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday – Evenings/Nights
Salary: £13.45 to £15.83 per hour, based on qualifications and experience

Your Responsibilities

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Area 3 network. Your daily tasks will include:

• Carrying out highways maintenance duties as instructed, including winter maintenance when necessary.

Responding promptly to incidents on the network and liaising with the Regional Network Hub Control Centre.Promoting customer care by working closely with team members to ensure polite and courteous interactions with clients and network users.Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and ensuring they are maintained in good order.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you have:

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A valid UK Driving Licence or LGV Cat C.Experience and knowledge of strict health and safety operations and their practical implications.The ability to work night shifts and contribute to the out-of-hours call-out roster.
