As a Horticulture Teacher, you will co-ordinate and deliver purposeful, yet exciting theory and practcial lessons to a diverse group of learners. Working in collaboration with the Horticulture provision and other internal and external partners, you will be responsible for the teaching, training and assessment of our learners that share an ultimate passion within the subject area.
Currently we are looking for someone who can deliver elements such as Health and Safety, Sustainability, Biosecurity, Legislation and Business to our L2 Horticulture and T-Level Horticulture and Arboriculture students.
This is a permanent, part time role working 14.8 hours per week (0.4 FTE) at our Merrist Wood College Campus.

We are looking for people who can act as role models for our learners and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work.
Whilst previous teaching experience and qualification would be an advantage, it is not a requirement. You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
