across Sunderland, with additional work on expanding contracts toward the Leeds area. This is a

hands-on, technically focused role

suited to engineers who enjoy working on complex plant and want long-term stability, development, and support from a national engineering network.What youll be doing

In this mobile service role, youll take ownership of the

maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of industrial-size chillers and refrigeration systems

across customer sites. Youll be a key technical point of contact, trusted to diagnose issues, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and respond to breakdowns efficiently and safely.Your day-to-day will include:Servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial refrigeration and chiller plantCarrying out PPM and reactive call-outsDiagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control faultsProducing clear service reports and recommending improvementsEnsuring all work is completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standardWorking independently on site while collaborating closely with the wider service teamWhat we offer

Refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent qualificationProven experience working on industrial refrigeration and large-scale chillersExperience with

HFC systems

and ideally

ammonia and/or CO2Ability to interpret

electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and system layoutsF-Gas 2079

and

ammonia handling certificationFamiliarity with major OEMs such as

SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, HowdenStrong diagnostic skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindsetFull UK driving licenceInterested?
