Interim Assistant Accountant (6-9 month FTC) Job at Wakefield, West Yorkshire Full Time

HW Finance are supporting a global business with a temp to perm opportunity in their Finance team.

The role will be an initial 6-9 month fixed term contract with genuine opportunity to become permanent.

The business operate within manufacturing and supply chain, serving multiple markets such as industrial, marine, defence and pharma amongst others.

Working within a small team you will:

• Assist the Management Accountant with month-end close tasks and preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support cash management activities and maintain oversight of cash positions
• Manage and maintain the fixed asset register
• Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Handle intercompany recharges and ensure intercompany entities remain in balance
• Support external reporting requirements
• Collaborate with Shared Service Centre teams in Europe to resolve complex finance queries
• Provide general finance administration support in the UK

Salary c£28-32k + benefits including generous company pension, health cash plans and future study support.
