IT Executive Job at Stevenage Full Time

We’re looking for a driven and ambitious IT Executive to join our growing technology team.

This isn’t a typical support role — you’ll be working in a fast-paced call centre environment supporting 300+ users, with exposure to infrastructure, networking, security, and projects.

What you’ll do

• Provide first-line IT support and resolve incidents
• Manage user access (starters, leavers, movers)
• Support network, server, and firewall environments
• Assist with patching, monitoring, and system improvements
• Contribute to ISO27001 / PCI DSS compliance
• Get involved in automation and technology improvements

Technical Environment (Desirable)

• Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Virtualisation platforms (e.g. Hyper-V)
• Network infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, switching, firewalls)
• Endpoint and patch management solutions
• Basic database environments (e.g. SQL)

What we’re looking for

• Strong IT support experience in a fast-paced environment
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft systems and networking basics
• Proactive mindset — not just fixing issues, but improving them
• Interest in developing into infrastructure/security/project work
