Full job descriptionIT Lecturer – Waltham ForestTemporary, Ongoing | 17 Hours per Week | £35+ per Hour
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Lecturer to join a college in Waltham Forest on a temporary, ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging IT teaching to learners within a supportive further education environment.
Role Details*Position: IT Lecturer
*Location: Waltham Forest
*Hours: 17 hours per week
*Contract: Temporary, ongoing
*Pay Rate: £35+ per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities*Deliver high-quality IT lessons aligned with the curriculum
*Plan, prepare and assess learning effectively
*Support learners to achieve their qualifications and progress
*Maintain accurate records and contribute to course development
*Ensure safeguarding and quality standards are met
Requirements*Teaching qualification or working towards (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed)
*Relevant IT qualification and subject knowledge
*Experience teaching IT in FE or a similar setting
*Strong classroom management and communication skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
