The Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems across the organisation. You will work closely with employees and management to deliver timely and effective technical solutions.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about technology and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line IT support to internal users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, devices, and applications
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, security, and performance
• Respond to support tickets and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Assist with onboarding and setup for new employees
• Support Microsoft Office 365, cloud-based tools, and collaboration platforms
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset records
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required
• Contribute to IT improvements, upgrades, and system projects

Requirements

• Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking basics
• Familiarity with hardware setup, software installation, and user support
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple requests effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• IT certifications or relevant technical qualifications are advantageous
