Protec Services is a growing IT and Security company looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Technician to join our friendly team.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both business and residential clients across a wide range of IT systems, networking, infrastructure, and support environments. No two days are ever the same!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing Level 2/3 IT support onsite and remotely
• Supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
• Installing and maintaining routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Supporting VoIP/SIP phone systems
• Assisting with Hyper-V, VMware, and server environments
• Visiting client sites for installations and support

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience in IT support or infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Strong Microsoft 365 & Azure knowledge
• Networking experience (VPNs, VLANs, switches, and firewalls)
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Experience with Hyper-V, VMware or MSP/IT support environments would be advantageous.

Hours

Monday–Friday, approximately 42 hours per week, between 8am–6pm.

Important: This is a fully office-based role in Louth and is not a remote or work-from-home position. Successful applicants will be required to attend our office daily and travel to client sites when needed as part of the role.
