Junior Estimator Job at London Full Time

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing construction company, for an Estimator to join their expanding team.This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to work on a varied portfolio of construction, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects across multiple sectors.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing packages while supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing detailed estimates and tender documentsReviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirementsSourcing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotationsIdentifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutionsLiaising with clients, suppliers, and internal project teamsAssisting with budgets, cost planning, and commercial reportingEnsuring all tenders are submitted accurately and on time

Requirements

Minimum of 1 years experience working as an Estimator within the construction industryStrong understanding of construction methods and materialsExperience with refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance, or new build projectsExcellent commercial awareness and numerical skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsStrong communication and organisational abilitiesProficient with Microsoft Office and estimating software
