Level 3 Motor Technician Job at Bexley DA Full Time

*Job Summary*Clover & Serks Auto Services is a busy, trusted local garage looking for an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join our team. We are seeking a skilled and reliable technician with solid motor trade experience who can work independently, manage their workload efficiently, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a professional standard.

*Responsibilities*

* Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs and routine maintenance on a variety of makes and models* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment* Perform repairs to engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission and electrical systems* Carry out air conditioning servicing and re-gassing* Conduct MOT testing and MOT preparation work (if qualified)* Complete vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements* Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used* Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and health and safety standards* Work efficiently to meet workshop deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship* Assist and support other technicians when required

*Requirements*

* NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician* Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills* Excellent mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicle makes and models* Experience using diagnostic equipment, hand tools and workshop machinery* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* MOT Testing Licence advantageous but not essential* Air conditioning experience preferred* Full UK Driving Licence

Pay: £32,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
