Management Accountant – Immediate Start Job at Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire Full Time

Bishops Stortford | Full Time | 12-Month FTC

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant on a full-time, 12-month Fixed Term basis.

This is a fully office-based role offering a varied opportunity within a busy and fast-paced finance team. The successful candidate will ideally be part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and have previous experience within a management accounting or general finance role.

The Role:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end processes
• Completing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Supporting purchase and sales ledger functions where required
• Assisting with accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and updating accounting systems
• Supporting cashflow monitoring and daily banking activities
• Assisting with financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions
• Supporting year-end processes and audit preparation
• Providing general support across the finance department

Essential Skills and Experience

• Part-qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA, QBE, or equivalent).
• Proven experience working with European entities
• Experience with VAT Return and Trial Balance preparation
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
