Management Accountant
- Annual Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

We are seeking someone who is a qualified Management Accountant or someone studying towards finishing ACCA/ACA or CIMA, to join the Finance team of a market leader in Wrexham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a professional to ensure the smooth operation of the management accounting section within a busy finance department. The successful candidate will use their financial expertise to meet stringent deadlines and support the company’s financial health.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports for senior management and head office.
- Provide a full accounting service including MIS, monthly standard reporting, VAT returns, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Engage in problem-solving and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency of the department.
- Produce materials for meetings and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
- Undertake project work as applicable, supporting the Finance team to drive initiatives that align with the company’s vision and mission.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or finalist
- Would potentially look at an earlier studier but salary would reflect journey
- Strong varied background within Accounts
- Happy to consider a first-time mover from Practice
- Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise team tasks effectively and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Technically strong – SAP experience desirable
