M&E CAD Manager Job at Croydon Full Time NEW

We’re working with a well-established Building Services Consultancy looking to appoint an experienced CAD Manager to lead the production and coordination of high-quality MEP drawings across a diverse portfolio of residential, education, commercial, and refurbishment projects.

This is a key role within the business, supporting project delivery, maintaining drawing standards, and coordinating multidisciplinary Building Services designs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing and coordinating 2D MEP drawings to construction level
• Managing AutoCAD drawings, models, worksets, and sheet standards
• Coordinating MEP layouts with architectural and structural teams
• Reviewing and coordinating work from an overseas CAD team
• Supporting and mentoring CAD technicians
• Maintaining QA, BIM, and document control standards
• Supporting engineers during project coordination and client meetings

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years’ experience producing MEP / Building Services drawings in AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and public health coordination
• Previous experience within a UK Building Services or MEP Consultancy
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and team coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of construction documentation

Software

• AutoCAD (essential)
• Revit MEP and Navisworks (preferred)
• Microsoft Excel and Word
• IES (desirable)
