*Position Overview:*
Our Company VanCare is seeking skilled technicians with outstanding customer service skills to join our Mobile Fleet Team in the Northampton area. As a Mobile Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for on-site repairs to large fleets of vans, primarily focusing on Paneltex and Solomon bodies installed on Mercedes Sprinter vans. You will also be responsible for carrying out services, brake replacements and other mechanical / service work on Mercedes and Ford vehicles. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service, often involving out-of-hours work.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Conducting on-site repairs to fleets of vans at depots in the Leeds area
* Handling repairs on Paneltex and Solomon bodies installed on Mercedes Sprinter vans
* Carrying out services and service repair work on Mercedes & Ford vans
* Providing excellent customer service during customer calls and on-site interactions
* Working independently and proactively to address repair needs
* Utilising company-provided equipment including a fleet support vehicle, company phone, riveter, grinder, and tablet

*Working Hours:*

* 3am – 12pm, with potential for overtime after these hours (shift pattern may vary)
* Overtime compensated at an enhanced rate
* One on, one off weekend rota applies

*Qualifications & Skills Required:*

* Level 2 or above Light Commercial Maintenance certification or equivalent
* Full UK Driving License
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
* Strong customer service skills with experience in customer calls and on-site communication
* Flexible availability to accommodate out-of-hours work

* Competitive salary: £35,000.00-£50,000.00+ per year
