What youll do Deliver a high-quality, efficient Occupational Therapy servicein clients homes and community settings.
Provide specialist OT advice, assessment, and intervention to maximise functional ability and quality of life. Support reablement by enabling early, safe discharge from hospital and preventing unnecessary care placements. Work closely with Social Workers, health professionals,carers, and families to coordinate care. Act as an advanced practitioner within OT and across Tricuros services, offering expertise in postural seating, positioning, complex moving and handling, cognition, and contracture management.
Assess and manage risks in partnership with clients, their families/carers, and other professionals involved in their care. What you need Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist. Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy(Diploma or Degree).
Experience of working with adults in a health or social care setting. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Experience of multi-professional and multi-agency working. Competent in using ICT systems for clinical recording. Excellent communication and team-working skills. Valid UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
