Speech & Language Therapist – SEN

Overview

I am currently recruiting for a Speech & Language Therapist to work with my client in Kingston.

You will be working in an OFSTED rated outstanding SEN school for 2-19 year olds.

They are open to both locum and permanent applications.

The Role

Provide Speech and Language therapy for students through individual, group and/or teacher directed therapy sessions
Provide assessment for current and prospective pupils as required
Working closely with teaching staff to embed therapeutic strategies into daily classroom practice
Providing training, advice, and practical support to school staffRequirements

At least 1 years postgraduate experience working within a school environment
Dysphagia experience
Post registration training in Makaton and AAC
HCPC registered
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Speech & Language Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
