As a Relief Cook in our service, you will support the preparation of nutritious meals that contribute to the health and wellbeing of the people who live here. Working flexibly to cover planned and short notice shifts, you will help ensure the kitchen runs safely and meals are prepared to a consistent standard. Catering for special diets and individual preferences Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety Supporting stock control and safe food storage Keeping kitchen areas clean, safe and organised Completing kitchen records and temperature checks Working as part of the wider service team You will be reliable and able to step into a kitchen environment with confidence, maintaining safe food preparation and hygiene standards. You will hold an Elementary Food Handling Certificate or be willing to achieve this through training provided. Basic IT skills are required for completing mandatory training.
