Your Role and Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and delivery documentation where required
• Reconciling supplier statements and proactively investigating and resolving any discrepancies
• Preparing supplier payment runs for review and approval by management
• Producing intercompany recharge invoices across multiple entities within the group
• Responding to supplier enquiries and resolving payment-related queries in a professional and timely manner
• Maintaining accurate financial records, documentation and filing systems
• Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and accounting tasks as required
• Assisting in the continuous improvement of finance processes and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with company financial controls, policies and best practice standards

What You Will Need To Apply:

• Previous experience within an Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant or similar finance position
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when processing financial information
• Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritise workloads
• Previous experience working within a busy and fast-paced business environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A professional, reliable and proactive approach to work
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage or similar finance systems
• AAT qualification or currently studying towards a finance-related qualification
• Experience working within a multi-company or group structure environment

The successful candidate will receive a salary of between £11,200 and £12,900 per annum, equivalent to a full-time salary of approximately £27,000 to £31,000, dependent upon previous experience and relevant knowledge.
