The Role
As the Payroll Executive, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Payroll processing for weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles
- Auto-enrolment and pension submissions
- RTI submissions to HMRC
- Handling statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP etc.)
- Managing client queries and providing friendly, professional support
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring compliance with UK legislation
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and personality to the team:
- Experience in bureau payroll or practice-based payroll
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- Confident using payroll software (BrightPay, Sage, Iris or similar)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
