Senior Growth Product Manager (PLG | B2B SaaS)Location: Remote (UK-based)Salary: £75,000 – £90,000Company OverviewEstablished and growing B2B software vendor operating within the finance technology spaceProvides workflow and process automation solutions into finance teams and the Office of the CFOServes SME and Mid-Market organisations across the UK and international marketsStrong product-market fit with a consistent and expanding customer baseCurrently investing in Product-Led Growth (PLG) to build a scalable, self-serve acquisition and conversion engine alongside a sales-led approachRole OverviewOwnership of the self-serve funnel, from initial signup through to activation and paid conversionFocus on improving conversion, activation, and overall user journey performanceHighly hands-on role centred around experimentation, data analysis, and executionResponsible for evolving an existing PLG motion into a more structured and scalable growth engineStrong emphasis on data, with end-to-end ownership from event tracking through to insight generation and actionKey ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end self-serve funnel from user signup to paid conversionIdentify and resolve drop-off points within onboarding journeysDesign, execute, and analyse A/B tests across onboarding flows, messaging, and user experienceRun a consistent, hypothesis-driven experimentation programmeAnalyse product and user data to identify friction points and growth opportunitiesBuild and optimise lifecycle journeys, including onboarding and behavioural messaging campaignsDevelop targeted in-app and email engagement to improve activation and conversionEnhance onboarding experiences and product interactions to increase adoptionWork closely with Marketing to understand acquisition channels and improve conversion by segmentSupport the development of attribution models to better understand performance across the funnelAnalyse cohort behaviour and funnel performance to inform decision-makingPresent clear, data-driven insights to senior stakeholdersCollaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to align on growth initiativesFeed insights into product roadmap discussions to support adoption, retention, and expansionLeverage AI tools to accelerate experimentation, analysis, and deliverySupport the development of early-stage growth capability within the teamSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience owning a Product-Led Growth or self-serve funnel within a B2B SaaS environmentDemonstrated success improving conversion across onboarding and activationStrong data fluency, including:Working with event-level product dataSegmenting users and analysing cohort behaviourBuilding dashboards and communicating data-driven insightsTranslating analysis into clear product and growth actionsExperience using product analytics, engagement, and feedback toolsTrack record of running regular A/B testing and experimentation programmesHypothesis-driven approach to problem solvingCommercial mindset, with the ability to link product activity to business outcomesExperience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and SalesAbility to operate independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience using AI tools to improve efficiency and outputDesirable ExperienceExperience working on SaaS products with onboarding or activation dependenciesFamiliarity with lifecycle messaging or in-app engagement platformsExposure to finance, accounting, or fintech software environmentsBasic wireframing or prototyping capability
