You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting new product introduction (NPI), and embedding a high-performance culture aligned to business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of production targets, ensuring alignment with customer schedules and quality standardsDrive achievement of KPIs across safety, quality, cost and delivery on a daily, weekly and monthly basisAnalyse production data and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiativesLead, coach and develop a team of Supervisors to build a high-performing, flexible workforceEstablish and review manning requirements in line with production plans and training matricesSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring process effectiveness and compliancePromote and embed Lean manufacturing principles, including TPM, 5S and waste reduction initiativesManage departmental budgets, including overtime control in line with business objectivesEnsure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and IATF standardsDrive effective cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Finance and Supply ChainManage employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and engagementEnsure robust communication across teams to enhance engagement and operational performanceWhat Were Looking ForProven experience in a Production Manager or senior manufacturing leadership roleDegree qualified (or equivalent experience) within a relevant disciplineStrong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teamsDemonstrated ability to drive performance within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approachExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilityExperience of Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyGood understanding of Health & Safety and regulatory compliance within manufacturing
