We are currently recruiting for a Project / Contracts Manager to join a well-established flooring contractor delivering a wide range of projects across London and the South East.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong flooring knowledge who is looking to progress their career within a growing and professional business.The company delivers projects across:

CommercialResidentialHealthcare & Hospital environmentsFit-out & refurbishment sectorsProject values typically range from £3,000 up to £80,000, with the successful candidate managing approximately 45 live projects at any one time.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard.You will work closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal management to ensure smooth project delivery.Key Responsibilities

Managing multiple flooring projects simultaneouslyCoordinating labour, subcontractors, and material deliveriesAttending site meetings across London & the South EastLiaising with clients, suppliers, and site teamsManaging programmes and ensuring deadlines are achievedMonitoring quality control and Health & Safety complianceResolving site issues efficiently and professionallyAssisting with procurement and project planningManaging project variations and reporting progress internallyRequirements

Previous experience within the flooring industryExperience managing flooring projects or contractsGood understanding of flooring systems and subfloors/substratesStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloadClient-facing and commercially awareFull UK Driving LicenceDesirable

SMSTSCSCS CardFirst AidExperience within healthcare or live environments

This position would suit either:

An experienced Flooring Project/Contracts ManagerORA strong Supervisor or Site Manager looking to step up into a management role
