Business Development Manager Patch: Middle England (East or West Midlands & Surrounding areas)Salary & Benefits: £45,000 base + uncapped 25% commission + 10% bonus on selected products + company carAre you a dynamic, commercially-driven sales professional ready to take ownership of your patch and make a real impact? We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Middle England, representing a leading international provider of access control, automation, and security solutions.About the Company:This is a highly respected, global business with a reputation for innovation, reliability, and technical excellence. They provide integrated security, locking, and automation solutions to commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and critical infrastructure sectors. With a broad portfolio of products and a focus on supporting partners, the company invests heavily in training, technical support, and marketing resources to help their teams and customers succeed.The Opportunity:Manage a patch of 97 live accounts, currently spending £650k, with a target of £800k.Identify and win new business, build strong relationships, and re-engage dormant accounts.Influence specification and project decisions from early-stage design through completion.Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and exhibitions.Collaborate closely with internal teams – sales, technical support, and marketing – to deliver seamless solutions.Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM records, reporting on KPIs and business objectives.Who We’re Looking For:Proven experience in business development, field sales, or technical sales.Strong self-starter who can generate leads independently.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.Full UK driving licence.Desirable:Exposure to access control, electronic security, or low-voltage sectors.Existing relationships with installers, integrators, or distributors.Technical confidence to discuss product solutions.Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling.Flexibility Across Sectors:While experience in electronic security is beneficial, the company welcomes candidates from similar sectors.
