*Registered Manager (Ofsted) – Children’s Residential Home*

*Location:* West End, Southampton
*Salary:* £57,750 per annum, plus generous bonuses (up to £25,000)
*Hours:* 40 per week, Mon–Fri, with rostered out of hours and emergency on-call duties

*About the Role*
You will:
* Lead and manage a 3-bedded Children’s Home in line with Ofsted regulatory and organisational requirements
* Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare, and child-centred practice
* Develop personalised care and development plans to meet children’s individual needs
* Promote therapeutic, trusting relationships between children, their families and the team
* Advocate for children and embed trauma-informed best practice
* Recruit, train, lead and develop your team
* Build positive relationships with internal teams, external agencies and key stakeholders
* Provide operational leadership, guidance and coaching to your team
* Oversee HR matters, attend meetings and maintain compliance with safer recruitment and relevant policies
*About You*
You will have:
* At least 2 years’ managerial experience within children’s residential care
* Ideally qualified to Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards) or a minimum of Level 4 in Children & Young People (residential childcare)
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations
* Proven team leadership experience
* A professional, positive and supportive approach to role-modelling best practice and team development
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Undertake the Ofsted ‘fit persons’ interview if successful
