About the Role
The Earth Surface Science group at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) are seeking a research assistant in paleoceanography and paleoclimatology. The research aim is to use the marine sediment archive to investigate past climate change.
The key duties are to:
About You
You should have a university degree level in a relevant field (e.g. Oceanography, Earth Sciences). Key skills include being familiar with processing marine sediment, picking planktic and benthic foraminifera, and maintaining databases for palaeoceanography investigations.

The School of Environment and Society which is nested within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. With 150 academic staff, the School is a vibrant inclusive community where disciplines come together to explore and challenge our understanding of the world.
