SEND Coordinator/Inclusion Manager
Salary: From £ 30,723 to 53,781£ (depending on skills and experience)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time

Whether you are an experienced teacher of students with SEND looking to take the next step in your career, or play an vital role in inclusion within your setting, this is an exciting opportunity to raise the profile of neurodiversity and Special Educational Needs within a warm and lively community in the heart of Brighton.
You will work on the strategic development of SEND policy and provision, develop effective ways of bridging barriers to learning for SEND pupils and offer extensive support to those with additional needs and their families. This will include responsibility for ensuring that changes in legislation and current research are reflected in the school’s SEND policy and provision.
You will also oversee screening and assessment procedures for SEND pupils and identify those who need support and monitor their progress throughout their school life. You will also be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of SEND and EAL pupils through one-to-one sessions, lesson intervention and the development of study skills. The role will also include responsibility for delivering training for staff in recognising and catering for pupils with SEND provision.
To be considered for this role, you will need, or be willing to learn, a comprehensive knowledge base of SEND needs in general.
