I’m working on an exclusive opportunity for a part-time Bookkeeper, supporting a well-established, family-run practice in King’s Lynn.

This is the kind of role many people ask for, but rarely comes up:

• 2–3 days per week

• Hybrid and flexible working (hours open to discussion)

• Around 6 months’ cover (long-term sickness)

• £25 per hour

• Start ASAP

The role:

You’ll be supporting a varied client base (limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and individuals), getting involved in:

• Bookkeeping and reconciliations

• VAT returns

• Accounts to trial balance

• Supporting month-end/year-end processes

• Ensuring compliance with MTD

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role in practice.
• Proven ability to prepare accounts to trial balance.
• Experience with VAT returns and a strong understanding of accounting requirements for both limited companies and sole traders/partnerships.
• Familiarity with Making Tax Digital (MTD).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
