A highly regarded, people focused engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Building Services team in Glasgow.

The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative mechanical building services solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will lead Mechanical design delivery from concept through to completion while supporting junior engineers and contributing to client relationships.
Projects span sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, hospitality, leisure, and public sector developments.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead the mechanical design of building services systems across multiple projects
– Produce and review design calculations, specifications, and technical reports
– Coordinate effectively with electrical, sustainability, and public health disciplines
– Attend and lead client and design team meetings
– Mentor and support junior engineers within the team
– Ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget, and quality expectations
Requirements
– Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
– Strong experience within a Building Services consultancy environment
– Excellent technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems design
– Proven project delivery experience across a range of sectors
– Familiarity with UK building regulations and industry standards
– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
– Chartered status or working towards chartership desirable
