Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician / Shift Technician
Location: Market Drayton – Butter Plant
Contract Type: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 6-6)
Salary: £56,160.00 per annum
We are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to join our high-performing team at the Market Drayton Butter Plant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering Technician or Shift Technician to step into a role where they can make a real impact in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.
What we are looking for in a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician:
- Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Engineering Technician, or Shift Technician in a fast-moving manufacturing or logistics setting
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (HNC level or equivalent)
- Familiarity with automation and CI tools is a plus
- Solid background in maintenance and reliability engineering
Key responsibilities of the Engineering Technician role:
- Deliver high-quality scheduled and reactive maintenance across the site
- Rapidly diagnose faults and restore equipment to service
- Identify root causes and implement cost-effective solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and FMEA activities
- Work with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
- Apply basic automation skills for fault finding and resolution

Please note: This is a Shift Technician role working a 4 on 4 off pattern, alternating between days and nights.
