About Us

LET Electrical & Renewables is a family-run solar PV & battery storage company based in Poole. Since 2019, we’ve grown steadily by focusing on quality installations, honest advice, and five‑star customer service for homeowners across Dorset, Hampshire and nearby counties.

We design and install domestic solar PV, battery storage and EV chargers using our own in‑house team – no cowboys, no subcontractor chaos. Our install diary is consistently busy and we’re now looking to add a skilled Solar PV Electrician to support demand and increase capacity.

*Please do not apply unless your experienced in the electrical side of solar installations or a qualified electrician. We are not activiely recruiting any apprentices.*

The Role

As a Solar PV Electrician / Installer, you’ll work as part of our in‑house team to:

* Install, wire, test and commission domestic solar PV and battery storage systems
* Carry out AC/DC wiring, inverter and battery connections, and system start‑up
* Complete electrical tests, certification and handover documentation
* Assist with roof‑mounted installations alongside our roofer where required
* Diagnose and rectify faults on existing PV and battery systems
* Work closely with our ops team to deliver clean, safe, on‑time installations
* Represent LET professionally in customers’ homes at all times

Most work is within a 60–70 mile radius of Poole. Standard hours are Monday–Friday with occasional overtime by agreement.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

* Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Full UK driving licence
* Confident working at height on domestic roofs
* Able to read and follow electrical drawings and method statements
* Good attention to detail and pride in neat, safe workmanship
* Professional, polite and customer‑focused attitude

Desirable:

* Experience installing solar PV and battery storage systems
* Experience with domestic consumer unit upgrades and testing
* Solar PV / renewables training (e.g. C&G / BPEC)
* EV charger installation experience
