Closing Date: 29th May 2026Contract Type: Permanent, Full TimeSalary: £34,896- £37,746Hours: 35 per weekLocation: Allan Water/MobileJoin our Housing Property Services team and play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs, asbestos management, and energy efficiency improvements across our housing stock.We are looking for a motivated and skilled Stock Condition Surveyor to help provide a customer-focused, multi-skilled repairs and maintenance service. You’ll work closely with tenants, contractors, and council teams to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.We welcome applications from candidates who may not currently meet all of the essential criteria but can demonstrate relevant skills, experience, and a willingness to learn. For the right candidate, this role may be offered as a development opportunity (Grade 7 salary £31,662- £33,507) with appropriate training and support provided to help achieve the required qualifications and competencies.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out stock condition surveys and property inspections internally and externallyConduct asbestos surveys, sampling, monitoring, and safe management in line with HSE guidanceComplete EPC assessments and identify properties failing EESSH standardsMaintain accurate asbestos and property condition records using specialist softwareIdentify and report repairs and health & safety risks during inspectionsSupport repairs, glazing inspections, and maintenance operationsWork collaboratively with trades teams, subcontractors, and housing servicesEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with legislation and Council standardsEssential RequirementsP402 Asbestos Bulk Sampling & Management qualificationLevel 3 Diploma for Domestic Energy AssessorsFull UK driving licenceStrong knowledge of construction methods and building maintenanceGood communication and IT skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We’re Looking ForYou’ll be proactive, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
