Main Purpose Of The Job
The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, as outlined in the current School Teachersâ Pay and Conditions Document. The post holder will meet the Professional Standards for Teachers appropriate to their career stage and exercise professional judgement in carrying out their duties collaboratively.
The key purpose of the role is to secure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement in Science, ensuring that all students make strong progress and are supported to reach their full potential. The post holder is accountable to the Curriculum Leader, Senior Leader, and ultimately the Headteacher.
