The role involves leading on system testing, upgrades and new developments, maintaining and supporting databases, producing accurate management information, and resolving complex system and process issues. You will work closely with colleagues across teams and departments, providing clear, plainâEnglish technical advice and working with external software providers where required. You will also contribute to service improvement by identifying creative technical solutions to business problems and supporting the delivery of technical projects and work packages.
This role is central to ensuring our systems are reliable, secure and fit for purpose, directly supporting the delivery of statutory financial assessment and charging services. By improving data quality, reporting and system stability, the postholder will help teams work more efficiently, identify issues earlier, and make better-informed decisions. Ultimately, this role plays a vital part in supporting highâquality services for Manchesterâs residents.
