A leading provider of ophthalmology services, specialising in laser eye surgery, cataract procedures, and lens replacement treatments across the UK and Europe, is seeking a Telemedicine Optometrist to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to be based in a flagship clinic in Glasgow city centre, working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists. You will play a key role in delivering a broad range of clinical services to patients.
No two days are the same in this role. Responsibilities will include:
Delivering patient consultations and treatment via telemedicine Reviewing and triaging referrals from optometrists, GPs, and other primary care pathways, directing patients to the most appropriate ophthalmology services Providing clinical support to administrative teams when required Collaborating with operational and clinical leaders to identify and implement service improvements Package and Benefits:
