Temporary Finance Officer – Southampton – £45-55K pro rata Job at Southampton, Hampshire Full Time NEW

A Temporary Finance Officer is being recruited for a large business in Southampton. 6 month period to start 10th June. Hybrid working and on site parking is offered.

The role would have responsibility for:

• processing of a high volume of financial transactions

• investigating discrepancies
• maintaining and developing financial processes and controls to mitigate fraud
• supporting change initiatives
• lead or take part in financial projects as required
• providing support to the monthly, quarterly and year end reporting cycles.

You will need to have a strong finance background with knowledge of financial controls, audit processes and statutory requirements, good communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
