Carlton Preschool is a school-based Preschool situated on the Carlton School site in Port Augusta. A part time program is provided for up to 20 children from 3 years of age and up. The preschool currently provides a preschool program for 3 days a week. It has 20 Aboriginal children enrolled with up to 15 children attending daily. The cohort of children attending the Preschool come from disadvantaged families, and bring a high level of complexity, requiring the need for social-emotional and early language development.
