The Opportunity

We’re working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy looking to add a Planner to its growing team in London. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative planning team delivering projects across a broad mix of sectors, offering exposure to varied sectors and genuine opportunities for long-term career development.

The role would suit someone with around 2 – 3 years’ experience who is looking to broaden their project exposure, work alongside multiple disciplines, and join a business with a strong track record of developing talent internally whilst working on some of the most unique opportunities with high profile clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of planning projects across a diverse range of sectors including residential, infrastructure, healthcare, education and commercial development
• Prepare planning applications, supporting reports and related documentation
• Assist in managing projects from early stage strategy through to determination
• Build relationships with clients, local authorities and wider project teams
• Work closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated project outcomes
• Contribute to business development activities and support team growth initiatives where appropriate
• Develop technical knowledge across a wide variety of project types and planning issues

Who They’re Keen to Hear From

• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
• Around 2 – 3 years’ planning experience within either the public or private sector
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ambitious, motivated and eager to continue developing professionally
• Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and building relationships across teams
• Delivery focused with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Keen to work across a variety of sectors rather than specialising too early
