Our people are central to our success, and as we continue to grow, we are investing in building a strong, proactive operations function that supports our logistics and warehouse teams and ensures seamless service delivery to our customers.As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit Warehouse Operative to strengthen our team at our Battersea Site.
About The RoleWe are looking for Warehouse Operatives to support various key areas within our growing team. This role will involve working across different warehouse functions, including receiving deliveries, handling stock, picking and packing orders, and loading goods for dispatch. You will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, helping to deliver high-quality food products to our customers.
Location, Battersea, LondonWorking Hours: Shift pattern: 5/6 days Morning: 6am-3pmNights: 9pm-6am & 8pm-5am
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving deliveries and checking goods into the warehouse
- Organising and maintaining inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading goods safely and efficiently for delivery
- Ensuring all stock is handled in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with stock rotation and monitoring stock levels
- Working flexibly across different warehouse functions as needed
- Collaborating with the team to maintain efficient warehouse operations
About You
- Hold a valid Reach Truck licence (essential)
- Experienced in a warehouse or goods-in environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Numerate and literate with good record-keeping skills
- Self-motivated with a positive, “can do” attitude
- Flexible and willing to support a variety of warehouse tasks
- Strong team players
