Finance Manager Job at Plymouth, Devon Full Time

REED Accountancy & Finance is working with a growing online retail business to recruit a Finance Manager. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in supporting commercial decision-making within a fast-paced, digital-led environment.

The Finance Manager will be based at the organisation’s head office and will work closely with senior finance leadership and operational teams.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of e-commerce P&L, including sales, margins, digital marketing spend, returns and operating costs
• Finance Business Partnering to Marketing, Technology and Digital teams
• Review and analysis of promotional activity, campaign ROI and customer acquisition costs
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Ongoing performance tracking, including weekly and in-period reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Identification of cost efficiencies and process improvements
• Contribution to wider management reporting and finance projects

Requirements:

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience
• Strong management accounting and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills; BI tool experience advantageous
• Good understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Experience within retail, e-commerce, or digital-led environments preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
