About The Role of Breakfast Supervisor:

Guest Service

• Prepare and serve a full range of coffee, tea, and speciality beverages to brand and quality standards.
• Provide warm, attentive, personalised service for all guests.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting service area.
• Respond to guest feedback calmly, professionally, and proactively.

Breakfast Supervisor Operational Duties

• Manage the breakfast service for the hotel, including making hot & cold beverages, serving tables, and engaging with guests. 
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and point-of-sale systems safely and confidently. 
• Liaise with management team and suppliers for machine and equipment maintenance. 
• Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure menu items are available and to communicate any shortages. 
• Handover efficiently to the evening team and duty management. 
• Ensure correct food handling, hygiene, and allergen practices at all times. 
• Manage and order stock such as tea and coffee. 
• Follow opening, closing, and cleaning procedures.

Quality & Standards

• Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and taste.
• Calibrate equipment daily and monitor product freshness.
• Adhere to company policies, brand standards, and health & safety requirements.

Teamwork & Communication

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across F&B and Front of House.
• Deliver barista training for new and existing team members. 
• Support new team members during onboarding where required.
• Communicate operational issues or guest feedback to the manager promptly

Breakfast Supervisor Requirements:

• Previous barista and waiter experience is required; supervisory/management experience is advantageous. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekday and weekend mornings. 
• Right to work in UK.
