Management Accountant
Northampton (Fully Office Based)
£40,000 – £45,000
Full Time | Permanent
We’re representing a growing Warehouse Solutions Group looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join their finance team in Northampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in a finance transformation project within a multi-entity business.
You’ll take ownership of producing accurate monthly management accounts across several group companies while helping improve and streamline existing manual processes. For the right person, this is a chance to really make your mark.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Producing monthly management accounts across multiple entities
- Preparing P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Managing the fixed asset register
- Variance analysis against budgets and prior periods
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and VAT returns
- Assisting with year-end audit requirements
- Producing ad hoc financial analysis and reports
- Supporting improvements across the finance function
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous management accounts experience
- Experience in a multi-entity environment preferred
- QBE, AAT, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA considered
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Proactive, detail-focused and organised
- Comfortable working with manual processes and driving improvements
- Xero and/or SAP experience advantageous
