Management Accountant Job at Wallsend, Tyne and Wear Full Time

A growing, privately-owned industrial group is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to support continued expansion. This is a key role reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, offering strong exposure, autonomy and clear progression in a fast-paced, project-led environment.

The Role

• Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
• Project accounting, including costings, valuations and margin analysis
• Ownership of cashflow forecasting
• Delivery of insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Business partnering with commercial and operational teams
• Supporting year-end and process improvement initiatives
• Mentoring a trainee accountant

The Person

• Experience in a management accounting role
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Comfortable working at pace and autonomously
• Confident communicator with a commercial mindset
• Team player with a hands-on approach
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering or other project-based environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Open to part-qualified, qualified or QBE candidates, from both industry and practice
