DevOps / Platform Engineer (Azure > GitHub Migration)
£600-700 per day inside IR35
Hybrid, 3 days onsite in London

Brief
We’re seeking an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to play a key role in a large-scale Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise migration (2,500+ repositories, 250+ developers).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the end-to-end migration from ADO to GitHub Enterprise / GitHub Actions
- Contribute to planning, design, and execution of the migration
- Deliver key activities including:
- Repository migration at scale
- Workflow & deployment template creation
- CI/CD pipeline design (YAML-based)
- Scripting and automation
- Documentation, testing, and reporting/metrics
Essential Experience
- Strong Azure (primary cloud) experience
- Proven delivery experience in one of the following:
- ADO GitHub Enterprise migration
- GitHub Enterprise implementation
- Migration into GitHub Enterprise from another tool
- Hands-on experience with YAML (pipelines / automation)
- Good understanding of software development & scripting
- Background in software engineering or infrastructure/platform engineering
- Experience working in large-scale environments (enterprise, high repo volumes)
