*Houghton Parkhouse*, an award-winning specialist in the design and manufacture of commercial livestock vehicles, is seeking a *Fully Qualified Electrician* with *domestic and commercial* electrical experience to join our growing team due to high demand for our specialist products. Ideally, you will also have some *automotive wiring* experience; however, this is not essential. In this position, you will work with our team on *the electrical systems within our manufactured products*, creating *customised solutions* that meet the requirements of our clients within the UK and EU markets.

*Job Description:*

· *Install, maintain, and test* electrical systems primarily within our manufactured products, in line with relevant standards and safety regulations.

· *Diagnose and troubleshoot* electrical issues, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all equipment and components.

· *Collaborate* with design, production, and electrical teams to implement reliable and compliant electrical solutions.

· *Perform inspections* to identify any potential electrical faults and resolve them promptly.

· *Maintain accurate records* of work carried out, including testing and maintenance logs.

· *Contribute* to the continuous improvement of electrical processes and standards within the company.

*Requirements:*

· *Fully Qualified Electrician* (with appropriate certifications, e.g., 18th Edition or equivalent).

· Demonstrable experience in *domestic and/or commercial* electrical installations.

· *Automotive wiring* experience is beneficial but not essential.

· Ability to *read and interpret* wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and relevant electrical codes/regulations.

· Strong *understanding of safety protocols* and compliance within electrical work.

· *Excellent communication skills* and ability to work effectively in a team.
